When I leave I put two bricks over the chimney to keep out rain and rodents but I’m looking for a better looking solution. Are there simple/cheap covers I can put on that just stay there and keep rain and animals out?
I’m thinking you haven’t seen our DuraTech exhaust kit. The top of the chimney cap extends well past the diameter of the chimney / flue to keep the rain out…
And the Spark Arrestor (that is locked inside the chimney cap) not only breaks floating embers into a thousand pieces, but it also keeps out rodents, birds, etc…
