Pizza Oven Door Rope Gasket

Hi I’m looking for a recommendation for a gasket for the oven door. I would like to hopefully accomplish 2 things with it.
1.) Help prevent moisture from getting inside from the elements rain/snow.

2.) Help hold in heat for baking or smoking

I assume it will have an adhesive back but it would hopefully hold up beingn outside.

Hi Dave,

Here is the kit that BrickWood sells for this purpose:

Gasket kit

Not saying you have to purchase this one, but I know that this is one of those items that @brickwood sells close to cost, because it includes the extra stuff you need to install the gasket.

The important point is that it’s rated for outdoor use, and the rope in the kit is sufficient to cover the opening.
